Is Heretoo free?
Yes. Heretoo is free to use, with no ads. As the privacy section explains, there's nothing to sell.
How do you detect a match?
When a trip you've added overlaps in both city and dates with a trip from a friend you've accepted, Heretoo flags it and sends you a push. Matching uses a geographic radius you control, so nearby cities can still count.
Can my boss, family, or random people see my trips?
No. Only friends you've mutually accepted can see your trips. Nothing on Heretoo is public, and your private notes are never shown to anyone but you.
What happens if I delete my account?
Everything goes. Deleting your account from Settings erases your profile, trips, friendships, and match records immediately and irreversibly.
Which countries and cities are supported?
Any city, anywhere. City search is powered by a public geocoding service, so you can add trips worldwide.
Does it work without giving access to my contacts?
Yes. Contacts access is optional and only used for the native single-contact picker. You can always invite friends by sharing a link over WhatsApp or SMS instead.
How do I invite a friend who isn't on Heretoo yet?
Send them an invite over WhatsApp or SMS. Once they join and accept you, your trips start matching automatically.
